As a part of Project Design 2014 for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, Input Creative Studio and The New York School of Interior Design have joined forces to create a one of a kind space for guests of the house.
Our room was designed to be a safe haven for its residents that are experiencing unspeakable tragedies; removing all 90 degree angles in the envelope of the existing space makes guests feel safe and relaxed. Wood wraps around the room forming built-ins while providing warmth and texture. Custom artwork, including a three dimensional mural gives a sense of whimsy and much needed silliness to break the tension that one feels while staying at the house.
