Located in the Bronx, NY, this luxury, mixed-use residential building features 215 units that are united in community through a multitude of shared spaces. Its tenants can enjoy a fully-equipped café, library, business lounge and co-working area, as well as social / leisure areas such as a kids’ playroom, fitness room, pet wash, theater, yoga-meditation room and game room.
The design of 276 Grand Concourse is a fresh take on European mid century modernism, bringing current pallete and trends into a timeless aesthetic. Offering an exterior infused with presence, power and movement, its facade is composed of handmade gray-washed brick and laminated corrugated panels in oak wood finish.
The brick and oversized signage pays homage to the Bronx’s industrial past, while the corrugated panels add movement and warmth to this unique and commanding structure. An impressive double-height reception area, ushers you into the warmth of soft curves, tambour panels, cozy woods and muted earth tones throughout the building.
Feel a visual, vertical connection between the ground floor and second floor business lounge and sense the artful, congruent flow created by custom Italian millwork, lime-wash plastered walls, cherry-finished oak and Italian Terrazzo.
Amenity spaces and public areas throughout the building, translate the language established in the lobby by creating scaled down intimate moments that are filled with warmth, light, pattern, texture and color.
Eclectic furniture selections meet clean materiality, providing the end user with a feast for the senses as they are transported into an immersive design experience.
